Mr. Muhammad Sajid presently serving as the Acting General Manager of the Punjab Pension Fund. He plays a crucial leadership role in overseeing the organization's operations and strategic initiatives. Before his tenure at the Punjab Pension Fund, Mr. Sajid gained substantial experience as a Research Associate at NBP Funds and as a Research Analyst at Zafar Securities (Pvt.) Ltd. He holds a Master of Commerce (Finance) Degree from the University of the Punjab and his commitment to professional development is evident through his achievement of the prestigious CFA Charter in 2014, showcasing his dedication to excellence in finance. With an impressive career spanning over two decades, Mr. Sajid possesses expertise in various aspects of the financial industry. Throughout his professional journey, Mr Sajid has actively engaged with the Capital Markets, involving both Equity and Debt Markets, demonstrating a consistent understanding of market dynamics and trends. Additionally, he is proficient in Research & Investment, Risk Management, Pension Reforms, and Consultancy, providing valuable insights to various government departments, institutions, banks, and entities within the government of Punjab. Mr. Sajid is also serving as the current Punjab Pension Fund's Chief Investment Officer (CIO), an extremely important role which demands active involvement in investment plans as well as sustaining optimal asset management within the organization. Before this, he performed key roles as a Portfolio Manager and Senior Research Analyst, significantly impacting the fund's performance.
